OnePlus 8 Pro: suspected live image leak, advanced family design, and quadruple rear cameras

OnePlus is rumored to launch OnePlus 8 series phones next month. Before its official debut, the alleged CAD-based renderings, sketches and specifications of the OnePlus 8 Pro were already online. Now the live images supposed to represent the OnePlus 8 Pro from both sides have been leaked. The photos show a familiar aesthetic scheme on the OnePlus 8 Pro, which can be seen displaying a curved screen with a perforation design. On the back you can see the next phone with four rear cameras.

So-called live images from OnePlus 8 Pro, courtesy of 247Techie, show the next phone in a light gray tone. The rear panel appears to be curved glass on both sides. In particular, the OnePlus brand on the rear panel adheres to the new design adopted by the company at the beginning of the month. Three of the four rear cameras are stacked vertically and located in a pill-shaped module that creates a small bump.

As for the fourth lens, it is tilted to house the 3D ToF sensor for a better estimate of the depth. At the front, the OnePlus 8 Pro displays a curved panel with a hole drilled in the upper left corner. Although the design looks useful, it’s not worth writing because we saw a similar aesthetic in the Xiaomi Mi 10 duo and the Oppo Find X2 Pro.

Also, there are no surprises here, as the phone looks almost identical to the CAD-based renderings and diagrams that appeared online a few weeks ago. The OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to become official next month, along with the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Lite. The phone is expected to contain the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, and it will be a 5G-ready device that will feature a 120 Hz screen and support wireless charging.
